The artist Astrid Leukroth, born in 1962 on Rügen, intensively devoted herself to painting after the tragic death of her two children. Her works give hope and radiate a wonderful lightness. They are encouraging. The selection here shows a little insight into her work. She has experimented a lot and has a wide color range. Leukroth has found in painting a language with which she can communicate with the viewer.
