Daniel Fuchs Täumel
About the artist
The artist Daniel Täumel is a painting musician and a music making painter. His works are also sculptures. In painting, as in music he breaks new paths. His works combine surreal echoes, cubist elements, associations with prehistoric art and aboriginal dreamtime stories to make a kind of intercultural creation. Each of his works is a ritual that slows down the time and asks for knowledge. Multi-layered stories whose the disclosure does not happen suddenly are told. His themes include evolution, the demise of civilization, the truth of reality and how we should treat one another.
