Katarina Blazhievskaya (La Katarina) - a photo artist from Ukraine, currently resides in Beijing. At the very beginning of the creative path she was attracted by the possibility of transferring unrealistic, artistic images, and therefore works mainly in the genre of surrealism, preferring a skilful staged photography with a characteristic rich visual language and clear, detailed images.

Each image is a technically complex, multi-stage process of work, because it is not enough for Katarina to select the right person for a particular image and to photograph him, the task is to convey his soul and essence, and therefore the subsequent processing of the received photograph is perhaps the most important. During this process, the image takes a clear shape, the necessary atmosphere, and integrity. It's like working on a oil painting, in which every detail and every movement of the brush are important, and in this aspect Katarina is an exceptional artist.

During her stay in Ukraine Katarina has held many exhibitions, took part in many competitions in her craft, both local and international. At the moment, in Beijing, she is working on several large projects that can surprise not only the scale and depth, but also clear, verified images, behind which lies a detailed, long story filled with myths and reality.
