Artistic Statement

I think no one doubts that our world and the whole universe is not the whole of the physical bodies and objects. All that exists, including ourselves, is also energy. Some scientists and some spiritual traditions believe that the energy itself looks like a cluster of luminous filaments or fibers that connect everyone and everything that exists in the universe. Since by education I am a Physics Engineer, I was always interested in the laws of the universe, and there was a great desire to get to the bottom of the truth. There are many different opinions and hypotheses about this, but my choice, which is closest to my temperament and my heart is the Luminous Filaments. This is seen in my works and, probably, this is the main aspect of what I'm doing. Even more correctly to say: luminous filaments are the main reason and stimulus of my creativity. If we talk about the technical side of my work, then in the creation of works, the primary concern is not the design, but the process. I never know in advance what kind of image I will create, nor its composition, nor its color scheme. I do not know "anything". And while I'm in the process: step by step, smear after smear, something takes shape. And in the end, this shape is filled with alive luminous filamens that for me, create and explain the meaning of everything. I am sure that what motivates this process of creativity is all the same luminous self-aware filaments that cover everywhere and equalize everyone and everything. Each time I delve into the creative process, I get to know not only the world of art, but also the world of myself. Free movement of meanings, their superposition, flow into an associative connection, spontaneity, abstract expressionism, transform into an ideal simplification of an artistic form, and come to the grotesque. All these definitions only make sense when there is an agreement about what reality is and what illusion is, but when this arrangement is not available, or it is consciously abandoned, and the point of reference ceases to exist, then pure art comes to the fore.
