The artist Helga Kreuzritter was born in 1937 in Schwerte/Ruhr.
Already in 1954, during her school years, she created several sculptures. After finishing high school (1955), she began her studies of sculpture in Vlotho (North Rhine-Westphalia). She worked as a freelance artist and had numerous group and solo exhibitions in Germany and abroad (Denmark, Austria, Belgium, USA).
From 1994 to 1997 she continued her artistic studies in Hamburg (drawing, painting). Since 1998 the artist works in her own studio in Bad Zwischenahn (Lower Saxony). Numerous exhibitions in galleries, museums and art fairs made her internationally known. Presented her works by Pashmin Art Gallery in the years from 2009 to 2014 at art fairs in Shanghai, Taipei, Beijing, Moscow, Istanbul, Madrid, London, Paris, Monaco (2 x), Basel (2 x), Miami and New York. Presentations in museums took place in Florence (Museo Firenze Com `era, 2009), Paris (Louvre, Salon Nationale des Beaux Arts, 2013), Vienna (Museum of Young Art- MOYA, 2013), Kiev (National Museum of Russian Art, 05-18 October 2013) and and Rothko Museum and Art Center, Daugavpils, Latvia.
Sales of her works took place in at various art fairs and art auctions.
Helga Kreuzritter has received several awards including the Silver Medal from the "Caterina de Medici International Painting Award", Florence, in 2009, then she was selected as "Artist of the Month" for March 2009 by NY Arts Magazine, New York.

Helga Kreuzritter lives and works in Bad Zwischenahn Bad Zwischenahn (Lower Saxony), Germany.
